La Editorial Santillana se especializa en la publicación de manuales
escolares. Yo recuerdo haberlos utilizado cuando era una niña e iba a la
escuela en Argentina. Ellos tienen un website con, entre otras cosas,
actividades sencillas y entretenidas que pueden imprimir para hacer junto a sus
niños. Dado que varios de nuestros chicos ya tienen incorporado el uso de sitios
educativos, me parece una buena idea sentarlos frente a la computadora para que
practiquen su español.
Creo que vale
la pena que se tomen el tiempo para navegar un poco este sitio porque tiene una
muy buena propuesta para la práctica de nuestro idioma. La sección que compete
a la parte literaria, aprender a leer y escribir, se llama: Español SerieAmigos. Tienen una gran variedad de actividades, así que analícenla con cuidado
para que puedan encontrar las que gusten a sus chicos.
Las páginas tienen un formato similar a las tareas que traen los niños
de las escuelas así que no les van a resultar extrañas. Además, hoy las
escuelas en Estados Unidos también fomentan el uso de la red con fines
educativos. La maestra de mi hija, nos ha enviado a los padres de la clase un
listado con varios sitios para que nuestros niños tengan material de apoyo al
curriculum oficial.
Sería optimo lograr que los chicos se sentasen dos veces por semana a
realizar estos ejercicios. Pruébenlos y cuéntenme su experiencia.

remember using them as a kid at my school in Argentina. Well, they have a website
with simple and amusing activities that you can print and do with your kids. Given the fact that most of our kids are already
familiar with educational sites, I thought it could be a great idea to keep
them in front of the computer to practice their Spanish.
I
think it is worth for you to spend some time checking this site because they
have an interesting proposal on how to practice our language. The section that
comprehends the literary part (learning how to read and write) is called EspañolSerie Amigos. There you can find several activities. Take your time to analyze
this site and find those lessons that your kids might like. The pages are similarly
structured as the homework our kids are given in school so they will feel
familiar with them. Besides, today,
schools in United States are also encouraging the usage of Internet for
educational purposes. My daughter’s teacher has sent the class’ moms a list
with suggested educational sites that we can use to reinforce concepts included
in the school curriculum.
Having our kids in front of
the computer doing these activities at least twice a week, would be ideal. Try
